High School diploma or equivalency required.
3-5 years relevant experience.
Strong PC skills, including spreadsheets, word processing and internal applications. Ability to learn specific programs as needed.
Strong written & verbal skills are needed to communicate in a courteous & professional manner.
Organizational and prioritization skills and attention to detail are needed to respond to multiple assignments in an accurate and timely manner.
Ability to work independently and handle large volumes of work, make appropriate decisions.
Working knowledge of internal and external procedural and policy aspects of Wealth Management business.
Ability to interact with all internal and external business clients and review the work of internal and external clients.
Ability to work as part of team and share knowledge and skills.
Ability to establish and maintain reasonable goals and deadlines.
This position is responsible for processing bondholder payments and corporate trust daily disbursements.
Process bondholder payments using bond accounting system, verify principal and interest due, create disbursements on trust system and create wires on wire system.
Process daily corporate trust disbursements via wire, ACH, People’s United Bank internal accounts.
Process corporate trust transactions as directed.
Research out of balance statements, make corrections as needed.
Setup new bond issues on bond accounting system as directed by corporate trust administration.
Complete audit confirms for bond issues.
Process fee payments for corporate trust accounts.
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
