What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is seeking an experienced TACC Network Engineer in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
More About the Role:
As the TACC Network engineer you will evaluate, design, document, install, implement, test, perform problem isolation and resolution, monitor, tune, and set standards. You will maintain these functions across a wide range of network facilities including physical media, protocol stacks, hubs, routers, bridges, gateways, digital servers, line drivers, telecommunications transport facilities, mainframe VTAM, NCP and related software/hardware, and network management components. You will also provides client consulting and training on the interfacing and use of the network facilities. You will plan and coordinates major computer network initiatives. You will researches, evaluate, and recommend new computer network equipment and technologies. Utilizes monitoring, performance analysis, network management, software and hardware equipment to trouble shoot and isolate problems as well as gauge network performance. This position allows for 3 days a week remote.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Years of Experience: Master’s Degree OR 15+ years of experience
Ability to work independently and solution issues
Clearance Requirements – US Citizen with the ability to obtain Public Trust and complete DHS Security Clearance; Ability to obtain DHS EOD suitability
